Services Provided
Houston Tech Pro provides smart home, security, and low-voltage installation services in the Greater Houston area, including:
- Smart home installation and setup • Security camera and access control systems • Low-voltage wiring and structured cabling • Network and Wi-Fi installation
Service availability is subject to technician availability and service area coverage.
Service Area
We serve Houston and surrounding communities including Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Pearland, Spring, Cypress, The Heights, and nearby areas. Service availability outside this area will be confirmed when you schedule.
Scheduling and Appointments
Appointments:
- Service appointments are scheduled based on availability • We provide estimated arrival windows, not exact times • Same-day service is subject to availability • Complex installations may require multiple visits
Cancellations:
- Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may incur a $75 service call fee • No-shows will be charged the full service call fee
Pricing and Payment
Estimates:
- Project estimates are provided before work begins • Prices may change if additional work or materials are needed • You will be notified of any price changes before proceeding
Payment:
- Payment is due upon completion of service • We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash • Large projects may require a deposit (typically 30-50%) • Final payment is due when work is completed to your satisfaction
Service Call Fees:
- Standard service calls: $100-150 • Emergency service calls: $175-200 • After-hours service: Additional fees may apply
Warranties and Guarantees
Our Work:
- All installations are guaranteed for 90 days • Equipment warranties vary by manufacturer • Labor warranties provided with new installations
Limitations:
- Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications • Equipment warranties are subject to manufacturer terms • We are not responsible for pre-existing wiring or infrastructure issues
Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your property and installation needs • Ensure safe access to installation areas (indoor and outdoor) • Secure pets during service visits • Notify us of any safety hazards at the property • Pay for services as agreed
Property Access
- You authorize technicians to access your property for scheduled services • You are responsible for providing access to installation areas • If access cannot be provided, standard cancellation fees apply
Liability Limitations
We are not liable for:
- Delays due to weather, parts availability, or circumstances beyond our control • Pre-existing conditions not caused by our service • Damage from power surges, natural disasters, or improper use • Consequential damages (lost data, business interruption, etc.)
Our liability is limited to:
- The amount paid for the specific service in question • Direct damages caused by our negligence or errors • Coverage provided by our liability insurance
Equipment and Materials
Customer-Supplied Equipment:
- If you provide equipment, we are not responsible for compatibility issues or defects • We will install equipment to manufacturer specifications • Equipment must be provided before scheduled installation
Our-Supplied Equipment:
- We source equipment at competitive pricing • Equipment is covered by manufacturer warranty • We do not mark up equipment prices significantly
Dispute Resolution
Process:
- Contact us directly to resolve any service concerns
- We will work in good faith to address issues within 7 business days
- If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled through binding arbitration in Houston, Texas
Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
